Draft timetable for joining the SBMSC and fixture setting

• 11 June 2006 -- Deadline for team managers to submit scores from last season if they are to be considerd for next season. Clubs should have indicated which age groups they will play next season prior to the Committee meeting on 14th June.
• 14 June 2006 - Committee meeting with Age Group Representatives - proposals for groupings next season are produced.
• 16 June 2006 - Draft team groupings for next season published on this website. Note that some new teams may drop out once the registration payment deadline passes later in the month.
• 22nd June - Deadline for new teams have paid pay fees £5 per team. (Note new teams must register interest before this date to have received forms)
• 29th June - Annual General Meeting. (Full agenda here) New teams voted in and last opportunity for most Team Managers to consult with the committee about their team's grouping.
• 30th June - The finalised list of registered (ie paid up) teams in their colour groups will be published on this web site. (Click here to view U7 U8 U9 U10)
• End July 2006 - any outstanding exceptional cases are closed, and team groupings are frozen. This is the list from which the fixtures will be generated.
• Late August - Fixtures available by visiting this website
• Late August - Hardcopy contacts sheet starts being prepared. Any changes to Team Manager contacts must be notified to the SBMSC Secretary by this date.
• August Bank Holiday - Hardcopy Contacts sheet is finalised and printed together with hardcopy fixtures list and Welcome pack, arriving via Royal Mail just after the Holiday.
• September 2006 - First fixture (U8 to U11 age groups)
• Mid September 2006 - First U7 and U11 Fixtures

Buddy teams

Team managers with only enough players for one small sided team can enquire about getting a buddy team to make up a full squad. This also applies to U11 players. The SBMSC will attempt to find another club to buddy with. Teams that prefer to play as single teams, without a buddy club, will not be accomodated this season as it has been found that it disrupts the our double header fixture format.
