Annual General Meeting 2008

The AGM will take place on 30th June at Bucks CC (Stoke Mandeville) 7:45 for 8pm start. (Map and directions)

Agenda

1. Chairmans welcome
2. Apologies for absence
3. To receive and confirm the minutes of the preceding Annual General Meeting
4. To consider any business arising there from
5. To receive and adopt the Annual Report, Balance Sheet and Statement of Accounts.
6. Election of Clubs to fill vacancies (as recommended by the Management Committee).
7. Website Manager report
8. Fairplay Manager report
9. Constitution of the Conference for ensuing season (Click here for proposed groupings).
10. Election of Officers and Management Committee. (We are looking for two managers, one U7 and one U8, to volunteer to be Age Group Representatives for the forthcoming season).
11. Fix the date for the commencement and conclusion of the playing season. (Click here for proposed fixture calendar)
12. Other business of which due notice shall have been given and accepted as being relevant to an Annual General Meeting

2008 AGM Minutes

• The Chairman welcomed all
• Apologies for absence – none received
• Minutes of the previous mid General Meeting were approved as a true recor
• The annual report, balance sheet and statement of accounts were agreed.
• The following new clubs were elected for the coming season

1. Westwood park
2. Seer Green
3. Stokenchurch

• Website managers report was received
• Fair play managers report was received
• Discussion then followed on the constitution for the coming season
• Election of officers and management committee
• Date fixed for the commencement of the playing season
• Other Business
  • a) Cup rule was amended rule 5.4
  • b) Player Registration – Committee felt that this was not required if there were any queries regarding over age players these should be referred to the AGR to deal with.
  • c) Cancellation of fixtures by a team. If a team cancels this can be replayed on an alternative date as long as it does dot interfere with other fixtures.
