Mini Soccer develops players without pressure
Mini Soccer is the format for youngsters to play club football. Over three thousand boys and girls aged six to twelve years play friendly developmental mini-soccer games against other clubs in a supportive atmosphere with us. Our award winning Fairplay scheme helps avoid unnecessary pressure on players. As a result we’ve had a period of high growth in the last few years. For 2018-2019 season, SBMSC member clubs have 232 squads registered to play. That works out to 359 teams because there are two mini-soccer teams in each squad in age groups U7-U10. See the full list of teams here .
Join us and play mini soccer (small sided football)
If you are a player, find out how to join one of the member teams here. We cater for age groups U7 to Under 12. Use the Football Age Checker to find out what age group you can play in.
All Age groups run developmental fixtures, in line with SBMSC’s traditional friendly format. In addition U11 and U12 age groups has a Cup competition starting late November 2018.
Our award winning Fairplay league measures sporting behavior shown by a teams supporters, players and officials. It shows how the game should be played and what behavior is expected. During the season, please submit Fairplay ratings for your opposition here. Later in December we’ll be publishing Fairplay tables for the first half of the season. Please make sure you sign in and rate opposition teams for Fairplay before the deadline (which is three weeks after the game date). Just a reminder that we count all our games including those with teams that have withdrawn or moved division, so please make a submission for all games while you can.
The Conference was founded in the 1990’s and is affiliated with the Berks and Bucks FA. In 2014 the Conference earned the status of Junior Respect League of the year in Berks and Bucks. You can acccess our archives and find out about the history of mini soccer in Buckinghamshire here.
